Journal Leadership

The founding leadership combines independent scientific authority with executive and institutional management. The two functions are complementary and operate within clearly differentiated areas of responsibility.

Associate Editors

Associate Editors will form the operational scientific core of manuscript assessment. They will manage manuscripts within broad scientific domains, identify appropriate reviewers, interpret peer-review reports and provide reasoned editorial recommendations within the journal's approved workflow.

Statistical & Methods Editors

This methodological group will support editors when the validity of a manuscript depends on complex questions of study design, prediction, causal inference, simulation, validation, missing data, model evaluation, calibration, fairness or other advanced analytical issues.

Editorial Board

The Editorial Board will be an active scientific body rather than a ceremonial list of names. Members will contribute through peer review, scientific advice, identification of emerging topics, reviewer recommendations, special collections and periodic evaluation of journal development.

Scientific Advisory Board

The Scientific Advisory Board will provide strategic scientific perspective on positioning, internationalisation, integrity, emerging fields and long-term editorial maturity. It will not function as a second Editorial Board and will not routinely manage or decide individual manuscripts.

Editorial Office / Managing Editor

Operational editorial coordination may be progressively professionalised through a Managing Editor or equivalent Editorial Office function responsible for workflow, deadlines, documentation, author/reviewer support, metadata and process traceability.

Future development

Early Career Editorial Board

JADIH plans to develop an Early Career Editorial Board once the journal has sufficient editorial volume and supervision capacity. The programme will be educational and mentored, with no parallel or unsupervised editorial decision-making authority.
